One Team – Many Stories
Barents Summer Games is an international youth sports event bringing together athletes from diverse backgrounds. We are committed to creating a welcoming and safe environment – both on and off the field.
Sport connects people across borders. That is why we value individuality and build an atmosphere where everyone can be themselves and participate with confidence.
We all bring our own backgrounds, experiences and characteristics – such as language, culture, nationality, beliefs, gender identity, health, and many other individual qualities that make each of us unique.
At the Barents Summer Games, diversity is seen as a strength. It enriches the shared sports experience and strengthens community, fair play, and mutual respect.
What we hope from everyone
At the Barents Summer Games, everyone plays an important role in creating a positive experience – whether you are an athlete, coach, spectator or supporter.
We kindly ask everyone to treat others with respect and encourage all participants in a positive way. As an athlete, you act in the spirit of fair play and respect others; as a coach, you create a safe and encouraging environment; and as a spectator or supporter, you help build a positive and respectful atmosphere.
Together, we can create an event where everyone feels welcome, can succeed, and be themselves.
